Sativa Construction assumed the critical responsibility of designing and fabricating mounts for the two solar boats housed at the Grand Egyptian Museum.
We were responsible for designing, fabricating, and erecting the specialized steel structure and mounting system for King Khufu’s second Solar Boat, the biggest and most complex artifact mount in the world.
Our team engineered and installed a high-precision structural solution to safely enable installing the monumental ancient wooden planks of the boat, while meeting strict museum, conservation, and seismic requirements.
This achievement showcases our expertise in delivering large-scale, technically demanding museum installations with accuracy, stability, and long-term durability.
We also handled the creation and placement of all showcase informative labels for Khufu’s Boat Gallery.
